At the end of the 2010 season, I noted everyone's activity. BackBackBackGone's last activity for his team on Yahoo and the Proboard were both on June 9 2010, which was 3 months of inactivity. Should he be replaced? Please vote and share thoughts.

Here was the post I made in October 2010:
I wanted to log the inactivity of some managers in 2010, which may be a topic of discussion entering 2011. On October 4, players not having checked their Yahoo team in over a month: BackBackBackGone - June 9 Springfield Isotopes - August 10 Sticks Robinson - September 2
Proboard inactivity: SadisticRadishFarmer - May 18 BackBackBackGone - June 9 Going Yard - June 9 Manny Being Manny - July 23 Regal Homer - August 3
I am not as concerned about the Proboard as I am checking in with your team. No activity with your team since June 9 (week 10 of 25) is pretty bad and I will consider replacing BackBackBackGone in 2011 if other managers feel the same way.

As a follow-up, I can't get ahold of Sticks Robinson (his email bounced back). Last year he registered after I contacted him on Facebook on the last day that I was giving him before I found a replacement. We might have to replace him this year unless I see that he's going to participate.

BackBackBackGone and Sticks Robinson are both of concern to me. The de facto deadline is if they don't sign up by the date I have set to enter in the rosters on Yahoo, then they're SOL and I have to replace them no matter what. I have had a few people interested in joining (mostly people that someone on here knows), so that shouldn't be a problem. However, I think BBBG's serious inactivity last year is cause for being kicked out. I know of some leagues where if a manager doesn't check a few times a week they're kicked out. I don't want this league to be that way at all, but I would prefer if everyone did check that often (for their team's sake and the rest of the league.... for trades, fairness, etc).
I hadn't thought about allowing a current manager to switch teams/rosters. I would entertain the idea if the consensus is to allow it. I haven't looked at the other teams yet either to see if they're better/worse. The only problem is that if 2 people want to switch to one team, how is the losing manager (in the coinflip) going to react? Might be better to stick with your team, IMO.

I would say go by the the record of the teams that finish last season. With the last place team having the first choice and so on.
